Challenge for Change exists to raise awareness of extreme poverty and to change the lives of those who currently live within these dehumanising conditions. We like seeing our event participants suffer for such a worthwhile cause. Hence our motto, 'Challenging events, changing lives.'
Since 2008 such events have raised over $800,000 and seen over 180 students supported on an ongoing basis who could not otherwise afford formal schooling. They have been held in Australia, Africa and New Zealand and have engaged both the donor community (mostly in challenging cycling or walking events) and students from EW in a Surf Challenge!

Rail Trail Cycle Challenge
This ride will pass through several rail trails including the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail.
We have flexible options with something for everyone. You can participate on a gravel bike, mountain bike or even an e-mountain bike. If you don't have a bike, we can also hook you up with a company that hires them out.
The full ride is a 5 day event, running from Wed 24th - Sun 28th May 2023... Think 50-75 km per day on gravel.
We are also offering a shorter "weekender" option, joining on the Friday night (26 May) and riding Saturday and Sunday (27-28 May). On the weekend, you can join the rest of the cyclists for the longer distance or opt for a shorter route each day (20-30 km on gravel with shuttle bus).
We will also be offering two types of accommodation with twin share in local motels/country pubs or a camping option (self-supplied) for a significant saving.
The proposed route is: Kilkivan-Kingaroy-Yarraman-Toogoolawah-Fernvale
We are finalising the details and keeping the participation costs affordable and ask that you commit to raising funds for Eagles Wings.
Registration is now open - sign up today: https://ew-cyclechallenge-gdg-j427.raisely.com/
