K’gari Walking Challenge 2024

What a fantastic opportunity!!! You can spend 5 days walking beautiful K’gari (Fraser Island) and
change the lives of vulnerable children in Zambia at the same time.

Join us on the K’gari Walking Challenge 2024 – spectacular lakes, pristine rainforest, good food, great
company and the sounds of the Pacific Ocean as you sleep at night. We will walk 12-18km each day,
a total of about 70km. It will be amazing. Come and join us as we challenge ourselves and bring
change to whole families in Zambia.

Event Dates: Sunday 18 August – Friday 23 August, 2024

Accommodation will be at Eurong with transport to and from walking points each day. We will stay
in shared apartments with all bedding supplied.

Places are limited so book soon to make sure you don’t miss out.
Last date for registration 16 June unless filled earlier. Late bookings cannot be accepted due
conditions of accommodation booking.

Fundraising
Our purpose is to raise funds to support the education of vulnerable children in Zambia. Each
participant will seek support from family, friends and others towards our fundraising goal. Our target
is 3-fold:

  • To raise $12,000 towards the Ukufuma program that supports Eagles Wings students to
    pursue further education and training after finishing school.
  • To raise $12,000 towards the education program focusing on primary and secondary
    students.
  • To sign up 10 new on-going (monthly) supporters.

With your registration you will receive more information and details to help you raise these much-
needed funds for Zambia.

Cost and Registration
Registration fees are as follows:

  • Walker $895
  • Support Crew $765

The registration fee covers accommodation, meals, transport during the event and other costs
associated with running the event. We can provide transport from Brisbane or you can meet us at
Rainbow Beach. Challenge for Change shirts or hoodies will be extra.

Required payment dates:

  • Deposit at time of registration $250
  • Balance by 16 June 2024
